- You are the focal company. Competitors can also be complementors. Two restaurants in a mall are complementors becuase the choice actually brings the customers to the mall in the first place. Complementors also help to sell your product. Holidays help the sale seasonal clothes.
- Suppliers - destroying the value of the suppliers doesnt add value to the network as a whole. Need to increase the value for the suppliers as well as the customers for the network to thrive
