A freedman he constructed a tomb that included his patron [[roman::Vesonia]] and his erstwhile friend [[roman::Marcus Orfellius Faustus]], with whom he later fell out. He probably did not want the expense of removing his statue and he had no other use for it in any case. So he decided to add a plaque articulating the low behaviour of his former friend.
